Old Crescent RFC
Old Crescent RFC has hosted the Pig‘N’Porter since its inception in 2001 and is also host to the ITRA Summer Tag League on Thursday nights. 55 teams will play their group games on 11 pitches here before being joined by the qualifiers from UL for the knock-out stages and finals.
Bar, food, shower and toilet facilities will be provided as we aim to make your day as enjoyable as possible. Stay for the full day & night as the party will get started in the marquee from the early afternoon hours!
University of Limerick
We are delighted to announce that the University of Limerick’s South Campus will host this year’s UL based Pig n Porter games. Matches will be played on the 10 Acres and the newly completed state of the art Maguires pitches, which will also host matches at the 2021 Tag Rugby World Cup.
As always there will be ample parking facilities along with food options and on campus accommodation – part of the Stay & Play offering for Pig n Porter.

All of our 7-a-side Social Competitions are run with teams of 14 players and 1 manager/physio/well wisher, bringing the total ticket allocation to 15 people.
The 8-a-side Premiership Competition is run with 16 players and 1 Director of Rugby/Tactician, bringing the total ticket allocation to 17 people.
Entry to the Club is by ticket only, so please ensure your Captain has liaised with festival organisers prior to attending – this will be covered in your Welcome Briefing.
Both Old Crescent RFC and the University of Limerick have excellent parking facilites for taggers taking part on the day.
For those playing in the Club, we do recommend Car Pooling with your teammates, as the temptation to stay on for the night may just be too much!
Food & Drink
Full bar facilities will be provided at Old Crescent, although no alcohol will be sold before 2pm. This is to facilitate the safe and enjoyable running of tag rugby matches – please respect the officials and the game.
For health and safety reasons, no glass is permitted in the car parks, on the playing pitches or any other area of the venues. Only drinks bought on the premises can be consumed on the premises.
Our vendors will have a wide range of offereings to quench your thirst or cure the inevitable hunger. More details to follow.
